Working for Proven Consulting as an Independent Contractor is a life experience and career building opportunity that I thoroughly enjoyed. As an Independent Contractor in this position, the range for hourly pay is at the top of the market with the potential to make a large amount annually. With an hourly pay as well as a travel and food stipend, you are quite literally earning what you work for. There is more flexibility in your project hours than a standard 9-5 if the job is getting done, including your choice of days off when applicable.
Another benefit of working as an Independent Contractor is rather than an employer automatically pulling a percentage of your income for tax purposes, you have full control of that process. With this full control of your income, you can pay estimated quarterly taxes which allows for a more comprehensive look at what you will be paying in for the year. This can reduce the stress of the large yearly tax application in April and can reduce the possibility of needing to pay in more than budgeted for.

Earning Potential
Our lock installation subcontractors earn up to $900 per project workday
How much travel can I expect?
Your abilities and performance will dictate how many project offers you can expect. Our lock installation teammates are rarely asked to fly to a project, as the tools / equipment necessary for these projects constitute several checked bags. Nearly all lock installations are within easy driving distance. We offer projects, you accept or decline – it is your prerogative.
Do I need previous experience?
Yes! Tell us about your previous experience and how you can use that experience to be successful. We will help you with application-specific training and set you up for success if you are willing to do the work.
What expenses are covered?
Most projects include an allowance for travel expenses, including mileage and and lodging where necessary. Nearly every lock installation takes place in the hospitality industry and therefore we lodge on the property where we are working. When we lodge off-property, our lodging is reimbursed.

How much travel can I expect?
The volume of project offers, and your travel time, will be a direct reflection of your performance in the field. Our clients make project offers to the subcontractor they believe is most likely to lead a successful deployment. It is your prerogative to accept or decline these project offers.
Do I need previous experience?
Yes, you do! Tell us about your previous experience and how that experience will enable your success. We will help you with application-specific training and set you up for success if you’re willing to do the work.
What expenses are covered?
All travel and lodging costs, as well as a daily meal allowance, are covered.

- Provide at least three professional references
- Be comfortable working in a professional atmosphere - our projects are always customer-facing.
